About me
Originally from sunny Sicily, my love for languages has taken me on a journey across Europe. I began my studies in Catania, but my curiosity led me to Paris for an Erasmus adventure, and then to Forlì for a deeper dive into translation at SSLMIT - University of Bologna. My final university year was split between the vibrant city of Antwerp (Belgium) and the dynamic streets of Paris (France), where I earned a joint European Master's Degree in Specialized Translation (METS).
From there, I ventured into the world of localization, beginning with a brief stint as a Localization Manager Assistant in Bologna, followed by a role as Project Manager in Paris. After that, I fully embraced the freedom of working independently, starting my full-time freelance career in 2014. This shift in my career path also took me to Silicon Valley and London, where I had the opportunity to work on-site for a major client, expanding my experience in high-impact environments. After two exciting years in Vienna, Austria, I returned to Italy, where I've been calling Milan home since 2020.

With a solid track record of working with high-end clients, I’m comfortable working remotely or in person, and I thrive in collaborative environments. But I also take pride in working independently, bringing precision, creativity, and a positive attitude to the table.
In addition, my background in both linguistics and project management means I approach every project with a comprehensive mindset. From my time as a Localization Manager Assistant and Project Manager to Language Lead roles, I know how to ensure everything flows seamlessly from start to finish.
Plus, living in Italy keeps me immersed in the language and culture I translate. This enables me to deliver not just accurate translations, but culturally-tuned, engaging content – all with a personal touch.

When I’m not working with words, you’ll find me immersed in cinema, theatre, art, exploring new cultures or enjoying the outdoors with Mila, my Golden Retriever. These passions fuel my creativity and help me approach every project with fresh eyes and an open mind. Whether it's a film’s intricate storyline or a painting's subtle details, I draw inspiration from all forms of art to bring depth and emotion to the content I create.
